 A former governor of Anambra state, Mr Peter Obi, has shared relief materials worth millions of naira to two hospitals in Abia and Imo states. A report indicates that the hospitals received the materials on Saturday, May 9. Obi who was represented by a team of delegates comprising his former aides when he held sway as the chief executive of Anambra state, encouraged the hospitals and their health workers to continue to give their best in delivering good health to the public, especially in this time of global pandemic.

Retired judge of the high court of lagos state. Justice Isiaka Isola Oluwa is dead. Justice Oluwa died in his home at Ilupeju, Lagos in the early hours of today. It was learnt that he will be buried at the Atan Cemetery, Yaba at 4pm, according to Islamic rites Justice Oluwa will be remembered as the judge that sentenced Lagos socialite, Alhaji Jimoh Isola, a.k.a Ejigbadero, to death for murder of a farmer, Raji Oba over land disputes, in 1975. He was born on June 23, 1918 to Lagosian parents in Cross River State. He attended Forcados Government School, Bonny; St Bartholomew’s School, Degema; Government School, Sapele; and King’s College, Lagos. Ebitari is a young fisher born and raised at the fishing camp. Mr. Perez Ikiokimi, Ebitari's father, has been fishing in the fishing camp over 30 years. The kid has learned from his father a lot of fishing skills most especially how to use nets, hooks, traps and other fishing equipment. Ebitari used the huge woven net of fishing floats owned by his father on Monday morning in order to capture the sea monster he saw. Three prominent persons have died in yobe after showing symptoms of corona virus Three prominent persons have died in Yobe State of suspected Coronavirus symptoms within the last 24 hours, SaharaReporters can confirm. They are former House of Reps member representing Nguru/Machina/Karasuwa/Yusufari Federal Constituency, Alhaji Baba Bukar Machina, Muazu Buraji, Director of Yobe State Ministry of Health, and Alhaji Bana Kura, a prominent civil servant in Geidam. Machina died at an isolation facility in Damaturu, the state capital, and is set to be buried on Thursday. It was reported on Wednesday exclusively that no less that 155 people had died over the span of six days after showing symptoms of Coronavirus.
